La Cala Finestrat Information & Attractions
The Spanish resort of Cala de Finestrat is located a meters 3 kms south from the lively resort of Benidorm. Finestrat though offers clients a more peaceful resort with more than enough to do which is ideal for families and couples but still within easy reach of Benidorm's many attractions. Finestrat is known as Benidorms best kept secret and still retains its Spanish atmosphere. Offering some excellent sea food restaurants, along with many outdoor bars and cafes a few steps from the beautiful sandy beach. You will find ample supermarkets, bars restaurants & tapers within a small walking distance of all our holiday apartments. There is a large shopping center on the outskirts of La Cala Finestrat called La Marina with many designer shops along with restaurants, Cinema & Bowling. The beach of Cala Finestrat is beautiful and safe for children with life guards always at hand during peak season. Don’t forget, In Finestrat and Benidorm you will find more than enough to do what ever the time of year. La Cala Finestrat is located 3 km away from Terra Mitica theme park where both small children and the adrenaline junkies will have a fantastic time. Outside Benidorm
Animals, Rides and Wild slides! Ancient lands, wild animals in their natural habitat, volcanoes, jungles, temples, villages and spectacular ancient rites - just a taste of the adventures in store close to the centre of Benidorm. Terra Natura has fun, excitement and wonder for all the family from flying on a zip wire over grazing elephants, zooming down hundreds of metres of water chutes to traditional displays of skill and artistry by natives and animals alike. Two parks in one, Terra Natura also contains Aqua Natura, a fantastic water park for a splash a minute fun or relaxing in the spa or on the beach. Each of the Five areas of the park contains its own bars/cafes and specially themed restaurants: and shops with very different souvenirs & gifts.
Outside Benidorm
Lying northwards just beyond Ondara, less than an hours drive from Benidorm is the famous and great fun Vergel Safari Park. There are lions, tigers, leopards and wolves roaming free in the park, which you drive through in your car which allows the lions and tigers to come right up to you!! There is a 'safer' area with domestic animals, pigs, ponies, and even seals and dolphins who put on a very entertaining show. There are go-carts, mini trains and children's play areas - a really great family day out. It's open during the summer from 10.00am - 7.00pm.
